THE GUITAR PLAYER
The selections on this recording are performed entirely on the ‘Spanish’ guitar, moulded by the traditions of Spanish music & the passionate folk art of flamenco. Recorded in the beautifully reverberant acoustics of a baroque Austrian monastery on the outskirts of Vienna, the sound is entirely natural with no added effects. I am joined on tracks 3, 9 & 12 for duets with cellist Herwig Tachezi - former Principal Cellist with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
